COVID-19 Guidance for Paddle Sports
Guidance for Paddle Sports
Paddlers taking part in coached, led, guided, or other organised activity can expect suitable measures put in place that will reduce the likelihood of COVID-19 transmission. These protection measures will include protocols to support physical distancing, hand-washing, and cleaning kit/surfaces that might be contaminated, along with procedures regarding group size/composition in line with government advice. We ask that participants comply as requested.
It must be acknowledged, however, that we cannot eliminate the risk of COVID-19 transmission entirely, as this would disproportionately impact on your overall safety and the quality of the experience.
More detailed guidance can be found in the Scottish Canoe Association guidance (6th January 2021).

We are taking new bookings for groups from April 2021.
If any booking cannot go ahead due to COVID-19 Government restrictions and Scottish Canoe Association guidance, our terms and conditions apply (clause 4c). This means you will be given the option to postpone your booking with us, or receive a 100% refund.

Once your booking is complete we will email you a final form for you to fill in which asks for an emergency contact, relevant medical information, and size information for the kit and equipment. This must be completed by all participants before going on the water with Sea Kayak Plockton.
We will then send you final confirmation of your booking together with joining instructions for your experience. This will contain information on what you need to bring with you and directions
Prices are per person. Most of our experiences are suitable for ages 15 and over; family sessions are suitable for children aged 13 and over. All our expeditions are for over 18s only. U18s must be accompanied by at least 1 adult (parent or guardian).
