North Coast Explorer

Our five day North Coast Explorer combines day trips and an expedition to discover the stunning north and north-east coasts of Scotland. The choice of locations to paddle are simply breathtaking. These far north and east coastlines are stunningly beautiful and spectacularly diverse in their scenery, which ranges from exposed and dramatic cliffs to sheltered bays and sandy beaches.

We base ourselves at a campsite on Scotland’s north coast in order to give ourselves excellent access to different coastlines to make the most of the weather. The first day is an opportunity to build confidence in the conditions we may experience and get to grips with the tidal planning that will be necessary for the week. Over the next four days we’ll paddle magnificent stretches of coastline, we really want to show you the best that the North has to offer. The aim is for the final two days to be a two day wild camping expedition.

Accommodation is camping at a campsite with facilities for four nights and one night wild camping on our two day expedition. The legendary Sea Kayak Plockton flapjack will be provided for elevenses every day!
