A fun and informative online course ideal for anyone looking for a little more background knowledge to complement their ventures onto the water.
This introductory sea safety course is suitable for all levels of kayaker heading out onto the sea, even those who have never kayaked before but would like some background knowledge before their first sea kayaking experience. At the end of each session there will be a short, fun, interactive quiz. Following the session we’ll email you some simple homework tasks that you can complete in your own time at home. These are designed to reinforce the learning during the online sessions, but aren’t mandatory!
We’ll also invite you to join a Facebook group where you can ask questions, get extra support from your tutor or other participants, and connect with other kayakers. Again, this isn’t mandatory, but simply there to provide whatever support we can.
